The Munros of the Cuillin ridge are the best in Scotland and your ascents will live long in your memory. Every day out on the ridge will provide you with a great challenge due to the Cuillin's complex and demanding terrain. Help is on hand from our guides, however. By making use of their services, you'll be able to benefit from their invaluable local knowledge and their considerable experience and range of skills. The fact that they can assess weather conditions, route options and your capabilities will also maximise your chance of success.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
We operate with small groups. This makes for a safer and more rewarding experience as we are better able to adapt the course to suit your needs. Most people need four days to bag the Munros on the ridge, assuming reasonable weather and fitness. (You will need to be fit to make the most of your time.) Our plans are always adapted around the weather, so meeting times and places can vary. That said, we usually meet at 9am and finish at 5pm.
We will provide you with all the technical equipment you'll need, such as helmets and harnesses, and your guide will have a rope, group shelter, first aid kit etc. We also have a stock of rucksacks, boots, waterproofs and other items should you need to borrow them. If you are short on time, or budgets are tight, then The Inaccessible Pinnacle/Sgurr Mhic Chonnich and Sgurr nan Gillean/Am Basteir are the two ascents that people find the most challenging and you should aim to accomplish these first.
